Alex was a proud Tucson native. He graduated from Tucson High School and sometime after enlisted with the Army Reserves. While in the Reserves he loved to assemble and disassemble rifles and hand guns, he had immaculate precision when doing so. He also loved to learn anything and everything about military planes, jets and vehicles. He could let you know what plane was flying out of Davis-Monthan AFB at any time.
He was proud of his job upkeeping St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, he often bragged about how well he did and how well it shined.
His favorite sport was football. He loved going to support as many Tucson high football games as he could make it to. While watching his high school team he often dreamed of going to an NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl game while cheering in the stands. Although physically he wasn’t able to make it in 2021 when the Buccaneers won the Super Bowl, he was definitely excited and brought it up every chance he could. Now that he received his wings he will be on the sidelines of every game from here on out.
As most knew Alex was definitely a big kid at heart. He loved all things but mostly he collected comic books, novelties items and model planes.
He once said, “my favorite time was driving my moped with Lauri and flying like an eagle.”
Despite the many challenges he had faced in life, he never let that define him and always faced them head on with jokes and a smile. He will be greatly missed and always remembered. Heaven gained a beautiful soul with a sense of humor.
