Andrew Martinez was born at Saint Mary’s hospital on January 20, 1961 to Lupe and Sally Martinez. At the age of 62, he was involved in an unfortunate car accident that later took his life and he passed away at Saint Joseph’s Hospital on April 17, 2023 due to life threatening injuries.
Andy grew up on south side of Tucson and was the graduating class of 1980. He was a proud Pueblo Warrior who received multiple achievements in track, basketball, and cross country.
He always enjoyed the outdoors with his friends and family. He loved boating around the lake, competing in golf tournaments, having BBQs, working on his house and boat. He will forever be known as a mischievous, fun, and always entertaining person.
He was a devoted and loving father to his two daughters Sabrina and Brianna until the end and he loved them more than anything. He was the best Tata and lived for making memories with his two grandsons, Brody and Ryder known as "his boys"
He was a beloved son and he loved his mother Sally dearly, spending time with her as much as he could, and doing anything she asked of him to help his mom. She was his biggest fan, supporter, and his rock throughout his life.
Survived by his children Sabrina, Brianna and Ryan; Grandchildren Brody, Ryder, and Oakley Parents Lupe and Sally; Siblings Patsy and Melinda.
