Anne Tubbs, known affectionately as "Granny Annie," passed away on May 26, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 79. She was born on November 18, 1944, in Toppenish, Washington, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilder.
Before retiring, Anne dedicated her career to serving the community. She worked for the State of Alaska at Public Health Nursing, where she coordinated travel arrangements for nurses and patients throughout the YK Delta.
In her leisure time, Anne enjoyed various hobbies such as sewing, playing board games and cards, solving crossword puzzles, and exploring new destinations through traveling.
Anne will be dearly missed by her three children, Donald Tubbs Jr, Laurie Haroldsen, Linda Smith, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Anne Tubbs will be remembered as a loving, beautiful, intelligent, endearing, strong, extraordinary, and brave woman. Her legacy of kindness and resilience will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
