Armand Turgeon, 85, of Ware Shoals, SC, formerly of Hartford and Rocky Hill, CT passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Armand was born on April 21, 1937, in Woburn, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of the late Honoré and Rosalie (Goulet) Turgeon. He was raised in Notre-Dame-des-Bois by Joseph and Lucia Lambert and later migrated to the U.S. in the late 1950's. He was predeceased by his loving wife Jeannette Cecile (Michaud) Turgeon.
Armand was a drywaller by trade. He was a gifted handyman and enjoyed helping loved ones with home projects and renovations. He was also a longstanding member of the Knights of Columbus. He lived a simple life and loved spending time with loved ones and their pets.
Left to cherish Armand’s love and memory are his son Daniel and his wife Kristen of Tucson, AZ; his daughter Linda C. Turgeon and her husband Robert J. Blasko of Ware Shoals, SC, with whom he made his home. Armand also leaves his loving grandchildren, Jesse Turgeon of Rocky Hill, CT; Kelsey Turgeon of Narragansett, RI; Brittany Blasko of Holyoke, MA and Tylor Blasko of Raleigh, NC. He leaves his siblings Alida Audet of Sant-Adolphe-d’Howard, Quebec, Canada; Monique Lucy of Exeter, PA; his sister-in-law Gisele Turgeon of South Windsor, CT; Rejeanne Turgeon of Sherbrooke, Canada; his cousin Colette (Goulet) Dufresne of Granby, MA and his bonus sisters Colette and Ginette Blais of Sherbrooke, Canada, and many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He joins his late siblings, Misa, Meleda, Meride, Roland, Andre, Lionel, Leonie, Marianne, Real and Edouard.

Armand’s final resting place will be Center Cemetery in Rocky Hill, CT. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
