Arthur Ramirez-Duarte, a beloved husband, son, tata and friend, passed away on March 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

Born in Tucson, Arizona, on February 15, 1971, to proud parents Arthur and Ana Duarte, Arthur brought joy into the world from the moment he entered it. He grew up surrounded by love and with a strong sense of duty, which led him to serve his country. Art "Paco" Duarte was a loyal friend to his paratrooper brothers. He served in the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, arriving in Saudi Arabia in December 1990 as a quiet kid not wanting to make waves and leaving a man of self-assurance and confidence. He fought in the Gulf war and Desert Storm he would always say he would do it all over again in a heartbeat. During his time in the military, he earned the coveted Combat Infantry Badge and Airborne Wings.

Arthur's life was forever changed when he met the love of his life, Teresa. Their union was a testament to the power of love, and Arthur made sure to remind Teresa every day just how much he loved her and how much she meant to him. Their bond was unbreakable, a beacon of love and devotion to all who knew them. Among Arthur's greatest joys in life were his dogs Petey, Lil Bit and Papachino, who brought him endless happiness and companionship. His heart overflowed with love for these furry friends, and he cherished every moment spent by their side.

As a brother, Art shared a special bond with his siblings, offering support and companionship throughout their lives. A father of two, he was immensely proud of his children.
Art's capacity for love extended beyond his biological family; as a stepfather of three, he embraced and supported his stepchildren, enriching their lives with his presence and care.

The joy and pride he found in being a Tata to eight grandchildren, showering them with affection and wisdom. Art's influence reached even further as an uncle to countless nieces and nephews,

Arthur will be remembered for having a zest for life that was contagious. His infectious smile could brighten even the darkest of days, and his playful spirit made him a big kid at heart. He approached every day with enthusiasm and a positive outlook, spreading joy wherever he went.

A man of simple pleasures, Arthur had a few favorite things in life. His love for purple, and a passion for tacos that was unmatched, and he never missed an opportunity to indulge in his favorite meal every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Though Arthur may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He touched the lives of so many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love, leaving behind a legacy that will endure for generations to come.
