Beverly Jean Mckiddy

Beverly Jean "Bev" McKiddy (Saxton) passed away on June 17, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 71. Born on April 20, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, Bev was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Bev was known for her kind and giving nature, always finding ways to volunteer and lend a helping hand. Whether she was leading Girl Scout troops or serving as the PTA president, Bev's dedication to helping others left a lasting impact on those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Gydesen, son-in-law William Gydesen, granddaughters Ashley, Aubrey, and Bailey; her brother Michael Saxton, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bev was preceded in death by her father Burton Saxton Jr, mother Eileen Clarkson, sister Irene, and brothers Robert and Burton Saxton III.

A wake to honor Bev's life will be held on Sunday, June 23, from 2-5 PM at her daughter and son-in-law's house.

Bev's kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
