Cameron McLean Oswald, known affectionally as Cam, passed away on June 23,2024, at the age of 42 in Green Valley, Arizona. He was born on November 22, 1981, in Tucson, Arizona where he lived for 2 years until the family moved to Oregon and then to Vancouver, Washington. Cameron attended Evergreen High School and furthered his education at Clark College. Cam was a spirited individual known for his adventurous and inquisitive nature.

His quick wit and love for laughter left a memorable imprint on all who knew him. His passion for music was evident through his hobby as a DJ, and he also enjoyed snowboarding, video games, and spending quality time with friends, family, and his beloved fur buddy, Lily.

Cameron leaves behind his loving parents Carl and Patricia Oswald. Beloved sister, Angela Haldorson (Steve Miller), niece Kaycee (Joe) Lemongello, nephew Kelsey Haldorson, great niece Avery Lemongello, and great nephew Kayden Lemongello. He is also survived by his great aunt Ramona Pavel, great uncles John and Gary Moeller. Aunts Suzanne (Bruno) Rescigna, Margy (Brad) Spellmeyer, Christine (Dan) Bates, Kathy Pabst, Stephanie (Jack) Long, Mary Jane Skelley, and Uncle Paul Pabst. Cousins Erik Spellmeyer, Jessica (Casey) Wills, Molly (Carl) Johnson, Crystal (David) Burke, Jenny (Seth) Dykstra, and Nicole Long. Great cousins Felix Johnson, Delia and Caleb Dykstra, Collin Skelley (Madison) and Ava Skelley Anthony Pabst (Maria) Anthony Pabst Jr, and Deklyn Pabst. James (Katherina) Elena and Addison and Ayden Sylvia and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vic and Nadine Oswald, and Kathleen Buckwald. Uncles James Pabst, Michael Pabst and Gary Pabst and Cousin Luke Spellmeyer. A celebration of life will be held at a later time to honor Cam’s life.

Sensible Cremations and Funerals of Tucson Arizona is assisting the family during this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Cam may be made to Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc, PO Box 820082, Portland, OR 97282-1082, reflecting his love for animals and particularly his close bond with his parents' dog Lily.
