Sue Nanson, aged 70, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Sue was born in Taipei, Taiwan on November 11, 1953. She grew up in West Virginia, and later moved to Indiana, where she learned to drive over the road trucks.
After retiring from her career as a professional truck driver, she lived near her parents in Arizona. During her final nineteen years, living in and around Tucson, she was loved and cared for by her partner Ray Bishop.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents (Robert and Dorothy Nanson).
She is survived by her son (Marc), her grandson (Eric), her sisters (Barbara, Charlotte, and Patricia), her brother (Richard), her cousins (Linda, Steve, and Susan), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sue enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, spending time with friends, and motorcycle riding with Ray.
Ray expresses his gratitude to family and friends who have been supportive during this difficult time. Sues cousin Linda, her sisters Barbara and Patricia, her son Marc, and friends Pam and Shufford.
