Carolyn Kay Quigley
Quigley, Carolyn Kay of Tucson, AZ passed away on May 19, 2022 from complications of dementia. Carolyn was born on April 28, 1950 to Alan William Filz and Marylynn Linder Filz in Keokuk, IA.
She graduated from Kahoka, MO High School in 1968 about 40 miles west of Keokuk. She then graduated from the University of Iowa in 1973 with a degree in social work.
Her first job was in Tucson for a few years, but she then moved back home to be with her father dying of lung cancer.
She then married Joseph B. Quigley in May of 1986 and they lived in the St. Louis, MO area until he retired. Then it was back to the desert she loved so much in March of 2014.
She is survived by sisters Betty Anderson of Kahoka, MO., and Linda (Wes) Kendall of Mt. Pleasant, IA., brother Brent Filz of Wayland, MO., a daughter Stephanie (Steve) Wagner of Cedar Rapids, IA., and grandchildren Allie, Chloe, Paisley, and Hayden.
Carolyn was an avid photographer who sold many of her photos. But most of all, she was a very loving wife to Joe for 36 great years who will miss her dearly.
