Dawn Wise, 53, passed away on Sept 11, 2022, at St. Mary’s hospital in Tucson, AZ with her family at her side. She was born on July 19, 1969, in Chicago, IL the third of three children to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wise. While in Albuquerque, NM Dawn graduated from Eldorado High School in 1987. She attended the University of New Mexico for a short time before transferring to the University of Arizona in Tucson AZ where in 1996 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. During that time, she started working for the University of Arizona as a staff interpreter for the hearing impaired. Continuing her education she was named to the National Honor Society in 2006 and received a Masters degree of Public Administration in 2008.
Dawn spent her life working with the hearing impaired as a sign language interpreter in business and education. She enjoyed spending summers in Montana, hiking, photography, reading, 10K marathons, traveling through Europe, and running.
The family takes comfort in knowing that Jesus is Lord and that per Rom 10:9 and 2 Cor 5:8 we will see her again.
For many years she has been involved with the Southern Arizona Beagle Rescue and the family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to this organization on her behalf. (soazbeaglerescue.com)
She is survived by her parents Paul and Betty, brothers Roy (wife Cari) and Curt (wife Randi), nieces and nephews.
