Donna Elaine (Schooley) Osborn

It is with a sad heart to announce the passing of Donna Elaine (Schooley) Osborn, beloved wife of Raymond Lee Osborn for 48 years. She passed into her eternal home on April 1, 2022 in Tempe, Arizona.

Donna was born in Muncie, Indiana on June 14, 1945 to Don and LaVerda Schooley. Her early years were lived in Muncie, where she attended the Garfield Elementary School. The Schooley family then moved to Selma, Indiana, where she was a graduate of Selma High School in 1963. Donna had a beautiful voice and sang for several years with her Mom, Dad, and brother Paul in The Singing Schooley’s. She attended Business College before beginning her professional career at A.E. Boyce Company in Muncie, where she worked. After moving to Arizona in 1986 with husband, Ray, and two children, she began working at the University of Phoenix, where she retired in 2012 after 16 years of employment there. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Tempe, Arizona. Donna enjoyed her retirement with spending memorable vacation trips with her loving husband, but this was cut short by the deteriorating of her health over the last 18 months.

Surviving Donna are her husband of 48 years: Raymond Lee Osborn of Tempe, Arizona; daughter: Kimberly Elaine (Osborn) Whaley (husband, Daryl) of Coushatta, Louisiana; son: Timothy Lee Osborn (wife, Janessa) of Mesa, Arizona; granddaughter: Olivia Joyce Osborn of Mesa, Arizona. Donna is also survived by brother: Paul Edwin Schooley of Livonia, Michigan; Aunt: Helen Tucker of Wilsonville, Alabama. Donna is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Special recognition for two special friends of several years, Pam Shattuck & Pam Maldonado.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents: Don & LaVerda Schooley; father and mother-in-law, Harold & Opal Osborn Holter, and step-father Al Holter; sister-in-Law, LaVada Schooley; brother-in-laws, Victor Osborn & Floyd Osborn; sister-in-law, Jackie Osborn.

Interment details to be determined under the care of All Options Mortuary in Tempe, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers in Donna’s honor, donations can be made to the Tempe Church of the Nazarene, 3929 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ 85282.
