Dorothy Paula Lietha

Dorothy Paula Lietha , born in Clinton, Iowa November 22, 1951 passed away June 7th , 2024. She moved to Tucson, AZ , with her family in Oct. of 1954. Dorothy graduated from Tucson High School.

For over forty years she worked at TMC medical hospital In laundry, foodservice and wellness before retiring . She spend many years volunteering at the hospital for the children’s miracle network, and foundation . They called her the popcorn kid. She was volunteering even weeks before she passed.

Dorothy attended Grace Lutheran church where she attended every event possible and loved to volunteer at funerals , dinners and all events. She will be missed by many family and friends.

Dorothy leaves behind one living sister, Patricia Dent , and nieces and nephews. Shawn Dent, Charley Dent, Joel Dent , and Joanna ( Dent) Gorney . Great nieces and nephews are Steve Dent, Josh Gorney, Callie Gorney ,and Molly Gorney.

No body was a stranger. She loved going back to Minnesota, to visit cousins and the family farm , besides attending events in Michigan.
