Edward Lee Christiansen

Edward Christiansen went to his heavenly home on July 14, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Edward Lee Christiansen was born in Sioux City, Iowa on April 11, 1945. He was adopted at birth by his parents, Henry and Melody (Rodgers) Christiansen. He attended school in Sioux City, graduating from Central High School in 1963. After graduation he married Jeanette Thomas. Kenneth Lee joined their family in 1964. When they divorced, Edward was drafted into the US Army. He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1968. He served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart.

He met and married Margaret Lents in 1970. They became the parents of Kevin Lee and Katie Erin. Ed enjoyed classic cars, classic westerns, guns, Harleys and his grandchildren. He was a member of VFW Post 5990, American Legion Post 132, Vietnam Vetetans of America, Military Oder of the Purple Heart and Disabled Veterns of America.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Kenneth.

He is survived by his wife, Marge; son, Kevin (Deona) their sons Dravin Stafford and Tristan Christiansen; daughter, Katie, her children Kaitlin and Killian Christiansen; step grandchildren, Brandi Chisenall (George), Amber Perfetto (Chris) and Joshua Esocbar, (Veronica), several great grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters.

His celebration of life will be held October 14 at the Arizona Veterans cemetery, Marana location at noon. Sensible Cremation and Funerals performed the professional services.
