Emanuel was born January 4th, 1943, in Fair Oaks, Arkansas and passed away in Tucson Arizona on the early morning of June 1st, 2023. After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Emanuel, “Buddy” joined his loving wife Mary, who passed away in March.
Buddy is survived by his two sons, Emanuel “Butch” Peevy and Mark Peevy (Wife Pamela) Buddy was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. His grandchildren are Jamison Scott Peevy, David Wayne Peevy, Mathew James Peevy, and Courtney Ann Peevy.
Great grandchildren Addison Peevy, Delaney Peevy, Olivia Ruth Peevy, and Maverick James Peevy.
Buddy is further survived by his brother Jimmy Peevy (Wife Sharron) His two sisters Paulette Browning (Husband Jerry) Kitty Meredith in Arkansas. Buddy is also survived by Mary’s sister Carol Maynard (Husband Spencer) and their children Becky McDonald, and Robbie Maynard.
Buddy served 12 years in the Us Air Force and served two tours of duty in Viet Nam and was Honorably Discharged as a staff Sargant. After his service in the military, he worked as a long-haul truck driver for many years until his retirement in 2011. Buddy was a frat mentor to many other young men and woman. Buddy was devoted to his loving wife Mary for 59 years and only after her passing in March, he allowed his own poor health to be known. Buddy was generous to a fault and if you were family or his friend, he would give you the shirt off his back.
A great light has gone out from the lives of his generation, and he will be missed terribly by all of his family and friends.
