A beloved resident of Tucson, Arizona, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 8,1953 and her vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gloria's journey began in the heart of San Jose, Arizona, where she attended Solomon Elementary and later Safford High School.
She cherished her upbringing in the close-knit community and formed lifelong friendships along the way. Known for her passion for family and cherished memories, Gloria had a penchant for capturing moments through photographs. Her home was adorned with snapshots of her loved ones, a testament to her deep love and affection for family. Gloria found joy in simple pleasures, from watching cooking shows to exploring yard sales and thrift stores with her partner, George Jimenez.
She had a special fondness for visiting The San Xavier Mission, where she would light candles for family and friends. Gloria's love knew no bounds and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and beauty.
She is survived by her devoted partner, George Jimenez, her children Carol Aranda, Michael Aranda Jr (Corina), Erin Kelley (Kris), Anna Aranda, her brothers Johnny Casas, Ernesto “Neto” Casas, and her nine adoring grandchildren Jaytee, Iyanna, Mayah, Zeke, Joseph, Sophia, Nora, Christian and Vivian.
