Henri Michael Menard

Henri “Michael” Menard was a devoted husband, father, & grandfather.
Henri Michael Menard, 66, died Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his home with his family at his side.
Henri was born on November 4,1955 in Lansing, Michigan to Nora-Ann & Renee Menard. Henri served in
the United States Army from 1974-1976. He married Suzanne LaFlair on September 9,1976. The two
were life long companions & friends. They were blessed with 4 children, Michael, Nora-Ann, Kathleen &
Austin.
Henri was a cowboy, farmer, crane man at the copper smelter, & a devout Catholic. He loved wood
working, watching wildlife in his back yard, especially the cardinals, & spending time with his
grandchildren.
Henri is survived by his wife Suzanne Menard, his children Mike (Michelle) Menard, Nora-Ann Menard,
Kathleen Menard, Austin (Kassandra) Menard, his 7 Grandchildren, his mom Marcia Sved, brother Renee
Menard, Sisters Kelly Gross & Sharon Nation, his chosen son, & brother in arms Adam Fero, & his 5 dogs.
Henri was preceded in death by his mother Nora-Ann Menard, his father Renee Menard, & his
grandparents Leroy & Pauline Smith.
Henri will always be remembered as a man of faith, who had an immense love for his family. He was
generous, kind, and always making jokes. Henri was a man who always had advice to give, and a life
story to tell for every situation.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the family and nurses at Heartland Hospice who took
such great care of him.
A memorial service is scheduled for 12:00pm on Friday, June 10 at the Arizona Veterans Memorial
Cemetery at Marana. 15950 N. Luckett Rd. The family has asked that you dress casually as Henri always
did.
