John E. Cormier, Jr. 66, passed away December 13, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona. John was born to John Sr., and Beverly Cormier on January 4, 1953 in Warwick, RI. He married Elizabeth (Liz) Cormier May 22,1992 in Clovis, NM. He worked for Freeport-McMoran mining in Green Valley up until the time of his death.
He was an avid reader. He loved his books. He loved to travel through the state looking for places that he had never seen. He enjoyed taking long rides on his motorcycle. John always had a smile and kind word for everyone. He never met a stranger.

John is survived by wife Elizabeth (Liz) Cormier, daughter and son- in-law Dolores and Zachary Huff. Daughters Heidi and Jamie Cormier of Las Vegas, NV. Sister Linda Wood of Las Vegas, NV and brother David Cormier of Massachusetts, father-in-law Roberto J Telles. John is also survived by numerous brother - in - laws, sister -in - Laws, grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Cormier Sr., mother, Beverly Sherman, mother - in - law, Martha E. Telles and sister - in - law Patricia (Patty) Barela.
