Juan Rene Reyna

July 10, 1954 — April 5, 2024

Rene was a caring person who lived to help others. A loving Son, Father, Tata, Brother and Uncle. He was an avid outdoorsman, always looking forward to his many hunting, fishing and camping trips with family and friends. He was also known for his sense of humor, his handyman skills, and his enthusiastic cheering for the Wildcats from the UofA and of Morenci.

Juan Rene Reyna, 69, of Tucson Az, passed away on April 5, 2024.
He was born in Morenci, AZ on July 10, 1954, to Vicente & Herminia Reyna. Rene was a star baseball pitcher at Morenci High School, attracting interest from recruiting scouts before a career ending injury. He graduated from Morenci High School and attended Eastern Arizona College. He worked for Phelps Dodge before leaving Morenci to study Information Technology at Devry University, and going on to work at IBM, and eventually Retiring from American Point of Sale. Rene fulfilled his childhood dream of a career in electronics.

Rene Reyna was preceded in death by his parents, Vicente & Herminia Reyna, and his sister Elizabeth Reyna. He is survived by his sons, Gabriel Xavier Reyna & John Reyna; by his granddaughter, Avayah Reyna; by his siblings, Hugo Reyna (Cindy), Alma Martinez (Philip), Diana Balderrama (Guadalupe), Vicente Reyna (Tammy), and his many loved nephews, nieces and great nephews/ nieces.
