Kathi Ann Vanlokeren

Kathi VanLokeren passed away in Tucson, Arizona on November 3,2018 at the age of 60. Kathi was born on February 7,1958 in Niagara Falls, New York. She was the daughter of the late James and Doris (Embury) Barry. Kathi lived in several places in the Midwest including Lisle, IL, Des Moines, IA. And Kansas City, MO. Kathi worked as a mortgage underwriter in several companies throughout the country. She moved to Tucson in 2006. It was in Tucson where Kathi met Bruce VanLokeren, whom she called the love of her life. They married in 2010.

Besides her husband, Bruce, Kathi is survived by her daughters Meghan Schuler and Erin Wilson, as well as her step daughter Katie Yepez. She is also survived by her twin sister Vicki (Greg) Andrew, sister Dawn (Chris) McClure, and brother James Barry. Kathi had an adventurous spirit and was a warm and caring person. Kathi has many best friends, some for decades, and some she had just met. A memorial service to celebrate Kathi's life will be held on Saturday, January 19,2019 at 10:00 a.m at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Tucson. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Gospel Rescue Mission in Tucson would be appreciated.
