Lauren Elizabeth "Lew" Webb Smith

Lauren Elizabeth Webb Smith, (LEW) of Tucson Arizona, passed away in April 2023 at the age of 32.

Lauren was born in Tucson, AZ and was a graduate of Sahuaro High School in 2008, where she was active in dance, cheerleading, student council, softball, and many other activities. Lauren will always be remembered best for her beautiful smile that lit up a room, her love of the beach, sunshine and the great outdoors, a great affection for animals, and above all else boundless love for her family.

Lauren’s life was filled with many remarkable memories, her most cherished moment was becoming a mother to her son, Dalton Smith Jr, 10, in May 2013. Lauren was so proud of her family and loved her son more than anything. And she loved and appreciated Dalton Smith Sr., with whom she shared her son.

Lauren was cherished and will be deeply missed by her mother Mindy Crist, executive vice president in banking, and by her father Tucson Fire Paramedic Donald Webb, her step-mother Marilyn Webb, and her brother, Tucson Firefighter Colby Webb. Lauren is survived by many loving step-siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and dear friends.

Lauren Smith’s life will be formally celebrated around her birthday in July. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made in Lauren’s memory to an Education Fund and Trust Account that has been established for Dalton Smith Jr. For details regarding the fund and celebration, please contact the family.
