Manuel Rivas, Jr.

Manuel Rivas, Jr., known to many as Junie, was born July 13, 1940 in Santa Ana, California to Manuel Sr. and Margaret (Martinez) Rivas. He died January 26, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 84.

Manuel went through his schooling making it all the way to receiving a Master's Degree. He worked as a banker.

His loving nature and happy demeanor always left an impression on everyone he met. Friends often described Manuel as the happiest guy of the bunch. He made everyone laugh and treated all people with respect, never speaking a bad word about anybody. He was also an amazing father and grandfather.

Manuel is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, Mario Rivas; daughter, Sonya Rivas; grandson, Austin Lofgreen; granddaughter, Natasha Lofgreen; and sisters, Delphie Candanoza and Vivian Lowe.
