Maria Bernadette Martin was born June 14, 1958, in Shawnee Oklahoma to Richard Raymond Williamson and Mary Teresa (Taron) Williamson. She passed on May 28, 2021, in Sahuarita, Arizona at the age of 62. She is preceded in death by sister Catherine. Bernadette is survived by her husband, Arthur Duane “Marty” Martin Jr.; two daughters, Stephanie Zinn and Sabrina Michelle Hunt; three step daughters; Stephanie Lynn Smith, Melissa Ann Knuffke, and Katie Marie Martin; her twelve beautiful grandchildren; Rhianna Hunt, Roger Hunt Jr., Raelynn Hunt, Rylee Hunt, Monique Montoya, Christopher Martin, Joshua Ortega, Giuliana Knuffke, Gabriel Knuffke, Karlisa Galarza-Grijalva, Leah Michelle Galarza-Grijalva, Lee Grijalva; siblings; Richard Williamson Jr., Mark Williamson, Robert Williamson, Teresa Williamson and Loretta Milo. Bernadette moved to Arizona in 1963 with family. She attended Sunnyside Unified School District, graduating in 1976, and attended Pima Community College. After her education, she worked for Sunnyside Unified School District for the next 43 years. Bernadette was part of the following organizations; Sunnyside Educational Office Professionals, Arizona Educational Office Professional Association, and National Association of Educational Office Professional. Her hobbies included sewing and crafting. Bernadette was a HUGE fan of the Arizona Wildcats, and was always cheering at every U of A sporting event. She loved to travel and one of her favorite places to visit was Lake Tahoe. She loved Lake Tahoe so much that she had her own special spot. She also loved her grandchildren dearly and spoiled them every chance she got.
