Mary Anne Nollsch-Abshier

Mary Anne Nollsch-Abshier died peacefully on March 3, 2025. She is survived by her children, Denise (Brad) King, and Matthew (Ericka) Abshier. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, W. Dennis Abshier. Together, they shared a love for craft projects, home decorating, and a life full of memories.

She took great pride in returning to college in 1981, obtaining her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Pima Community College. Her strong sense of community led her to serve others through her work with the Tucson Community Foodbank, the Salvation Army Hospitality House, and a fulfilling ten-year career as the Administrative Assistant to the Presbyter of Southern Arizona, from which she retired.

A passionate fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Mary Anne also found joy in cooking, sewing, and especially quilting, where her creativity and attention to detail shone. Above all, she will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, especially for her husband, Dennis, and her children.
