Mary Louise Wood

Mary “Mare” Louise Wood was born in Tempe, Arizona on October 19th, 1947 to Sylvester Donald Winter and Mary Ann Daum. She moved to Santa Monica, California where she attended Santa Monica High School.
Mare loved to paint, she was an incredible Oil Painter, mostly self-taught. She also showed Alaskan Malamutes, bred three generations, and had one of the most decorated mals in the country. She belonged to the American Kennel Club.
Mare loved to read, she was very well educated, known for her intelligence. She had a quick wit and loved adventures. She will be truly missed by many.
Mary is survived by her daughter Cindy Shroder, her son in law Bobby Shroder, her grandkids, Katie, Thomas, Kellie, Jake, her great grandkids Bailey, Gunnar, Ember, and Everleigh.
