Nellie Bertoldo Hernandez

Nellie B. Hernandez, a beloved resident of the Miami Globe area, passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 94. She was born on February 6, 1930, in Safford, Arizona, to Alejandro Bertoldo and Mary Montes.

Nellie dedicated many years of her life working as a maid, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment to her family. Beyond her professional life, Nellie had a passion for various hobbies, including crocheting, cooking, baking, and dancing. She found joy and fulfillment in these activities, sharing her creations and talents with those she loved.

A devout member of the community, Nellie was a faithful attendee of Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church in Miami, Arizona, where she found solace and connection in her faith.

Nellie was a woman of many talents and leaves behind a legacy of love and perseverance. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Hernandez, her son, Richard B. Hernandez, and her grandson, Bubba Hernandez.

She is survived by her son, Robert B. Hernandez, her daughter, Yolanda B. Hernandez, and her granddaughter, Ruby Hernandez. Nellie's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.
