Ralph E. Baker, 61, passed away at his home in Tucson, Arizona on January 16, 2025. Born in Bendersville, Pennsylvania, on February 26, 1963, Ralph was a man of many passions, cherished for his warm sense of humor and his deep love for family.
Ralph graduated from Biglerville High School in 1981, where he made lifelong friendships. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life - whether it was hitting the links for a round of golf, cruising the open road on his motorcycle, or sharing a quiet moment with his beloved dogs. His favorite hobby was watching the Steelers and rooting for whatever team was playing against the Ravens. His dogs Medusa, Dixie, Sophie, and Veyda were among the true loves of his life, and he took great comfort in their companionship.
Preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Helen Baker; his wife, Brenda and his brother, Jack. Ralph’s memory lives on in the hearts of his surviving family.
He is mourned by his sisters, Joan Baker of Arendtsville and Jill Sheaffer (husband Terry) of Biglerville, as well as his nieces, Becky Bolton (husband Ryan) and Jenna Foltz (husband Wesley). Ralph’s legacy continues through his two great-nephews, Xander and Brantley Bolton, and his stepchildren, Mandy and Ricky.
Ralph was a friend to many, always quick to offer a joke or a kind word. His spirit, his humor, and his generosity of heart will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A private interment with family will be held later.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an animal charity of your choice.
