Rebecca Susan Lopez

Susie Lopez 66 years young of Tucson, Arizona Passed away on May 9th, 2024, at Banner University Medical Center.

She was born in Silver City New Mexico on February 14, 1958, to the parents of Manuel Braun and Epifania Ybarra. She was the eldest of four siblings.

Susie graduated from the University of Arizona with her nursing degree and worked in various hospitals and numerous positions. During her career, she developed a passion for hospice care allowing her to care for her husband Carlos Lopez (the love of her life), her father Manuel B. Ybarra, and her mother Epifania Ybarra. In her lifetime, she was able to help heal and touched so many lives.

Susie is survived by her two children Jessica Rae Lopez and Carlos Jesus Lopez, and her grandchildren Anthony, Julio, Ayanna, David, Carlitos, and Manuel Lopez. Her siblings are Julie, Ronald, Gregory, sister-in-law Dana Ybarra, brother-in-law George, and daughter-in-law Olivia.

Family and friends are welcome to visit the family home to celebrate Susie’s beautiful soul and gather to share memories and joy at their family home following the service.
