Richard T. Hendrix

Richard T. Hendrix, age 69, passed away on June 20, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on November 6, 1954, in Hamilton, Ohio.

Rich is survived by his brothers, John (Sue) Hendrix, Ed (Pauline) Hendrix, Fred (Temukisa) Hendrix, and Ronald (Tatiana) Hendrix; children Michael Hendrix (Micha Pollack) and Ashley Herran (Steven); grandsons Travis, Raiden, and Tyler; great granddaughter Paisley; many nieces, nephews, and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lige and Ida Hendrix; brothers, Herman, Truman; and sister, Sue Carol Moser.

Rich graduated from Fairfield High School (Ohio) in 1973. He went into the hospitality industry right out of high school. He became the general manager of multiple hotels throughout the country. One of his proudest accomplishments was fostering the construction of a new hotel in Houma, LA. He particularly loved the ins and outs of the industry and would always be ready with a humorous story of the trials and tribulations of hotel life.

He had a story telling skill like no other. This skill has since been passed on genetically through at least two generations.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
