Richard Kenneth Petersen, also known as Rick, led a life filled with family, work, and hobbies. Born on April 15, 1960, to Gaylord Petersen and Joline Eckman in Minnesota, he moved to Arizona at the age of 8. He spent his childhood in St. Paul, Minnesota, before relocating to Arizona. Richard graduated from Flowing Wells High School.
In July 2021, he married Mildred E. "Beth" Petersen in Tucson, Arizona. Richard worked in construction for over 40 years and lived in the same place on Ruthrauff for 25 years.
He had a passion for motorcycles, enjoyed playing darts, and had a deep love for history. His favorite song was "Waterfalls."
Richard valued loyalty above all else, considering friends and family as an integral part of his life. He was fiercely protective of those he cared about.
Richard Kenneth Petersen is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by 5 daughters, 2 sons, 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. His memory lives on through his extensive family and the impact he made on those around him.
