Richard C. "Dickey" Salas

Our beloved patriarch of the family. Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend ascended into the gates of Heaven on September 8, 2022.

Richard was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He worked for Raytheon Missile Systems for 26 years. After retirement he enjoyed his time in the casino and entertaining family.
Richard’s family was the most important thing to him. His humor was unmatched and his story telling was even better. If you were lucky enough to ever sit down and have a conversation with him, Lord knows you would be entertained.

He is preceded in death by his Father Eduardo, his mother Maria, his siblings Frank, Eduardo, Roberto, Armando, Rachel, Molly, and his two grandchildren Raul and Austin.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Terry Salas, daughters JoAnn (Eli), JoLynn (Daniel), Jessica (Davon), Son Richard (Camille), along with 7 grandchildren Rudy, Andres, Dominic, Aidan, Alexya, Danielle, Arisaya, and one great grandchild Ajziana.

Dickey will be missed immensely by family, friends, and those who were fortunate to have met him. His life will forever be celebrated, and his presence will never be forgotten. Join us as we bid him farewell at Sensible Cremation and Funerals, 109 W. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ September 30, 2022 at 2pm.
