Rick L. Kevan left this earthly world for his heavenly home on January 9, 2023. Rick was born May 24, 1952 in East Liverpool, Ohio to his beloved parents Richard (deceased) and Janet Bechtol Kevan. Rick made his retirement home in Arizona where he leaves behind his wife, Georgia. He also leaves, as he would say, his “darling” daughters Jessica (Eugene) Kevan, Megan (Patrick) Pecoraro and Sara (Doug) Brock. Grandchildren, Jenna, Mason, Drew and Kate along with two sisters, Kim (Ken) Storey and Janet (Shawn) Kevan. Rick also leaves his only aunt, Gladie (Ed) Merritt, and five loving cousins.
Rick was a good friend to so many across the country as well as growing up in Wellsville, Ohio, graduating from SLHS in 1970. Rick was a member of the Army Blue Berets serving in Vietnam. He also served in the Stephen Ministry attending North Congregational United Church of Christ.
If you ever met Rick you wore a smile as he had an infectious personality full of warmth and laughter. He never met a stranger and was a good and faithful servant. His wish for cremation was honored and he was inurned at Prescott National Cemetery, Prescott, Arizona with full military honors. Services were provided by Sensible Cremation & Funerals.
