Mooresville, Indiana, and Tucson, Arizona - It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bogie" Bradley Payne, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Bogie, as he was known to all, left this world peacefully on January 24th, 2024, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.
Born on July 30th, 1971, in Martinsville, Indiana, Bogie's laughter and genuine warmth lit up every room he entered. He grew up in Mooresville, graduating from Mooresville High School in 1991 and later Marian University in Indianapolis. In 1992, he married the love of his life, Amy Kern Payne, and together they built a beautiful family, filled with endless love and laughter.
Bogie's dedication to his family was unwavering. He was a devoted husband, always supportive and loving, and a doting father, finding endless joy in spending time with his daughter, Lauren. He cherished every moment, from Disney trips to backyard barbecues, making each one a memory etched in the hearts of those he loved.
Beyond his family, Bogie's passions were many. He was a die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan, his cheers echoing through every game. He loved the thrill of scuba diving and the serenity of being outdoors. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were contagious, lighting up every gathering he attended.
Bogie's kind heart and willingness to help were legendary. He was always the first to lend a hand, offering support and a smile that could melt away any hardship. His infectious laughter and genuine warmth touched everyone he met, making him a friend cherished by many.
Bogie's passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of his wife, Amy; daughter, Lauren; mother, Paula; brother, James; sister, Bobbie; half-brother, Tony; half-sister, Robin; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and extended family. We mourn his loss but celebrate the incredible life he lived, a life marked by devotion, joy, and an unwavering love for those he held dear.
