Terrance Matison

Terrance Matison, (9/25/1950-10/17/2023) beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend passed away of natural causes at age 73. He is survived by his wife Amanda (nee Baldwin), brother James, sister-in-law Nancy and nephews Jimmy and Micah. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and June Matison.
Terry was a larger-than-life personality with a grand and colorful sense of humor and a hearty laugh that was unforgettable. You always knew when Terry was in the house. One of his passions was cooking and he made friends with every butcher he met. He’d let you know the best deals at all the grocery stores. He was first-call for any kitchen questions. And he was a talented hairdresser.
He was also passionate about music, especially live music in Tucson. He loved Dr. John, New Orleans jazz, reggae, and the blues. He made many friends at each of his jobs in the food and entertainment industry. That is where he and Amanda met, they fell in love and married in 2021.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
